The ANGEL Learning System is used by many instructors for posting course material and assignments online. Your instructor will advise you if his or her class is using ANGEL and how to enroll. Electronic Account Access Instructions including PASSWORD setup and security for Network Logon, Your Connection, Angel and E-mail. E-Mail Instructions including setup directions for Bluedevil Web-mail, Netscape Messenger, Outlook Express and Apple Mail. PINS (Personal Identification Numbers and PASSWORDS): The Learning Center does NOT have your PIN numbers on file for "Your Connection." If you become locked out, you will need to go in person to the Registrar's office with photo identification and your FID (Fredonia ID number). Registration PINS are recreated for each semester; you will not need to remember your registration PIN once you have registered for Spring semester classes. Personal Storage Space: Utilize your U:/ Drive to save files on the server. This way you don't have to worry about disk space, losing a disk or saving to a public computer. It is also a great place for backup copies of your hard work. Each student has 250 mb of server space which is accessible from on-campus or off through FTP software (free download). Printing Quotas: Anytime you login to the SUNY Fredonia network your printing quota will display on the desktop. Each student will receive up to 600 pages per semester without any additional charge. At 3 cents a page (2 cents per side for duplex printing and 6 cents for color print), this represents an $18 value and is provided You will be able to view your remaining print balance every time you print. If you need to print more than 600 pages, you may purchase additional non-refundable pages in 200 page ($6) increments at the Cashier windows in the Office of Student Accounts, third floor of Maytum Hall. There are lots of ways to save printing costs and trees.
Virus Protection: All SUNY Fredonia students are covered under the University’s Norton Anti-Virus software license. You must use your FredoniaID and PIN to download the software through "Your Connection": Wireless Network information and instructions. The following areas currently support wireless connections:
