High schools do not provide transportation and neither does the College, so the responsibility for getting to college classes lies with the 3-1-3 students themselves. Most find riding with another 3-1-3 student from their high school to be the best solution, especially those who have a distance to drive. At least one high school has, in the past, made arrangements for their BOCES bus to circle by the campus to deliver and pick up students. Allowances are made for driving time when the college schedule of classes is chosen. Parking Permit:"All members of the college community (faculty, staff and students) who drive cars or other motor vehicles on campus must register their vehicles within seven (7) days after classes begin. . . . During the first week of classes, vehicle registration will be held in the Williams Center. Throughout the remainder of the semester, registration will be in the Office of Student Accounts, third floor of Maytum Hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m." (http://www.fredonia.edu/UPD/ParkingRegulations.htm) Park and Ride Shuttle:Express shuttle service runs between the Park and Ride Lot and Symphony Circle Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The Park and Ride Lot is located off Ring Road between the softball field and the Services Complex. The Symphony Circle stop is in front of Maytum Hall. See Campus Map for Park and Ride Shuttle route and stops. This is a free service. |
