| Please
review your credit evaluation and verify that we have awarded the amount
of credit you were expecting. We need to have official college transcripts
and AP/CLEP exam results in order to award credit. We have notified the
few students whose evaluations are still incomplete. The information
requested must be sent to our office by mid October or a registration
hold will be placed on your record.
In addition, if you plan to take additional coursework at another college over the winter or summer breaks and transfer it back to Fredonia, first stop by our office to complete a 'Transfer Credit Approval Form'. Save yourself time and money by getting the approval form completed PRIOR to taking courses elsewhere. We have a list of course equivalencies for several NY colleges on our Fredonia web page. Simply refer to the bold section on our home page titled “Admission to Fredonia”, and select “Transfer Credit Equivalencies.” Please call our office at 673-3171 and ask for Kristin or Helen if you have any questions regarding your evaluation, transfer credit, or issues related to transferring. We would like to hear your feed back on the transfer process and make the transition easier for future students. We may be reached via e-mail at the following addresses: |

News from the Advising Center: |
||
| You
can find out the name of your advisor on-line. Go to Fredonia's Home
Page, click on Your Connection. Go to the Student Services area, then
to Student Records, then View Student Information, submit the Fall 2004
term, then check under the General Student Record for the name of your
advisor.
Once you have the name of your advisor, from Fredonia's Home Page go to Faculty/Staff area then People Finder at the bottom of the page. Type in the name, and the campus address and e-mail of your advisor should come right up. Go and introduce yourself to her or him. You'll want to get to know that faculty or professional person very well. Check out the Advising Center's Web Page for up-to-date information whenever important advising and registration events are about to occur. If you have general questions, or are just not sure where to turn, come to the Advising Center (2nd floor Fenton Hall) and we'll get you headed in the right direction. |
