SCHOLARSHIPS, SCHOLARSHIPS, SCHOLARSHIPS

FastWeb Do you know that you could be awarded a scholarship for answering questions about the FBI? Or, by creating a five minute video on the theme "One Person Can Make a Difference"? Or, by writing an essay on the novel Atlas Shrugged?

Find these and many other scholarship opportunities by checking out http://fastweb. monster.com. You will be asked to complete a profile listing your interests, hobbies, career plans, membership in various organizations, and other biographical data. FastWeb then searches through thousands of scholarship postings to find ones matching your profile. Search results offer a description of the scholarship, eligibility requirements, deadline information and a link to the scholarship sponsor’s website.

FastWeb is a free service but you need to accept or decline a number of offers along the way. These sponsor ads can become irksome but they keep the service free.

Student Bulletins published by FastWeb offer advice on writing scholarship letters, completing FAFSA forms and understanding financial terms.
