If classes are canceled after the beginning of the
instructional day, the announcement will be communicated to Directors
and Departmental Chairpersons and announcements will be made over the
radio stations mentioned. (SUNY Fredonia Guidelines for Extraordinary
Absences and Weather Conditions, Nov 2005).
Typically any notices regarding cancellations or important messages are
placed on the home page of Fredonia website (www.fredonia.edu). Look
for these notices in the middle section above the drop down menus. Important
messages are always in red font so they stand out.
