How does GSS compare with SI?

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program where Learning Center tutors work with all interested students from a particular class, typically required for a major. The SI tutors help students go over the concepts presented in class, as well as help students learn study methods pertinent to the subject. SI tutors work closely with the professor to supplement the class work. They do NOT replace the professor in any way, nor is SI a substitute for going to class and studying on your own. However, SI provides an excellent opportunity for students to solidify their knowledge of important concepts in a convenient, interactive, and friendly way.

Visit the Learning Center for more information and to contact the SI Supervisor, Victoria West.
