Drop-In Tutoring PC Computer Lab

Academic Information Technology (AIT) maintains a computer lab in the Tutor Area of the Learning Center.

The lab consists of:

• 8 PCs (one with Zoom Text capabilities)
• 1 printer
• 1 scanner
• 1 CCTV

The PCs contains the WindowsXP OS, Microsoft Office, Maple 8, Mathematica 5, MicroCase 4.8, Minitab 13.32, SPSS 11.5, Geometer's Sketchboard v4, Visual Basic 6, Visual C++ 6, Accountant's Trial Balance, and Acrobat Reader.

NOTE: All nonapplication files are deleted regularly.  Save your work to your U: drive or on a floppy disk, not the hard drive.

An additional stand-alone (offline) PC contains discipline-specific files, writing exercises and rules, typing software and MSOffice.

CTS tutors also offer beginning and novice computer users assistance in basic PC skills and in the most common programs used by students.
