THE CONSORTIUM

In an effort to protect our trademark rights and help ensure that campus names and marks appear on quality products and are used appropriately SUNY Fredonia is a member of the SUNY Campus Trademark and Licensing Consortium. The consortium was established in 1995. Members of the consortium include SUNY Fredonia, Brockport, Buffalo State along with the University of Buffalo.

The University of Buffalo serves as headquarters for centralized licensing services of the consortium. The Fredonia Trademark and Licensing Committee and FSA Campus Coordinator works with the University of Buffalo Office of Trademarks and Licensing, and monitors the use of our name, logos and graphics on clothing and novelty items.
