--American Association of University Women Educational Foundation *Research Scholar-in-Residence: to address the higher education experience of women including topics of institutional culture, transitions to work, technology-distance learning, mentoring in non-traditional fields, persistence, and diversity. Stipend: up to $45,000 for up to 12 months.

Qualifications: MA/MS or Ph.D. required; priority given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge of and experience with women's issues in higher education. Preference given to those with 3-5 years experience in research and/or information analysis. The candidate will be expected to spend time in Washington, D.C. but formal residence there is not required. Women of color are strongly encouraged to apply. Proposals due: Sept 15, 1998/ Award made: Nov 15, 1999 Funding begins: January 1999.
