Undergraduate Readmission/Reinstatement

A student who has separated from the university may apply to return through the reinstatement or readmission process.

Students will be considered for reinstatement if they:

• Do not have any campus account holds, and
• Had at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of separation, and
• Are returning within one year (two semesters) from the time of separation, and
• Seeking to complete the same major

Students will be considered for readmission to Fredonia if they:

• Do not have any campus account holds, and
• Had below a 2.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of separation, or
• Are returning more than 1 year (two semesters) after the time of separation, or
• Seeking to enter into a new major

Readmission / Reinstatement form

Once an application is received, the Registrar's Office will review and forward to the appropriate academic leadership for approval as necessary.  Please be aware this process can take approximately 1-2 weeks to complete. 

The University's decision will be communicated to the student via the email address provided on the application.
