You will build your teaching knowledge, skills, and confidence throughout the program, and become a student teacher in middle and high school placements the final semester.

BIOL 237 - Genetics
The principles of genetic analysis and the nature of the gene. The course will cover Mendelian and molecular genetics.
BIOL 243 - Organismal Biology
The goal of the course is to develop an expanded knowledge of organismal biology. Coverage will include evolution, population genetics, and taxonomy.
BIOL 333 - Biochemistry
The structure and function of proteins and the regulation of metabolic pathways will be the central concepts presented in the course.
