I began my teaching career at Fredonia in 1986 as a Teaching Assistant. After finishing my degree in 1988, I stayed on as a part-time Lecturer. In 2001, I became a full-time Visiting Instructor. From 2003 - 2007, I served as Director of the Composition Program. In 2016, I was promoted to Senior Lecturer.

Teaching Interests

My passion is teaching future teachers to teach reading, writing, and poetry. I offer courses in English Education pedagogy primarily for Early Childhood and Childhood Education majors with English concentrations.
