I grew up in Wisconsin, married Tedi in 1999, and have two sons, Josiah and Sebastian. I am a member and secretary at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Springville.

Inquiry-Based Learning, JUMP Math, Calculus, Mathematical Structures and Proof, History of Mathematics, Mathematics for Liberal Arts, Geometry

Research Interests

Sums (finite and infinite), algebraic geometry, enumerative geometry, moduli spaces, ideal theory, undergraduate mathematics learning, history of algebraic geometry
