A frequent recitalist and collaborative artist, Mezzo-Soprano Patricia J. Corron has enjoyed an active career in both oratorio and opera in Washington D.C., New York State and the mid-west, and her performances have taken her to Great Britain and Europe. Dr. Corron's opera and musical theatre credits include leading roles in Albert Herring, Le Nozze di Figaro, The Medium, Falstaff, Susannah, Carousel and Sound of Music among others. She has appeared as alto soloist in such works as Christmas Oratorio, Magnificat, St. John Passion, Mozart Requiem, Elijah, Messiah, Brahms Alto Rhapsody, Beethoven Ninth Symphony.

Dr. Corron is currently Associate Professor of Voice and teaches studio voice and vocal pedagogy. She also serves as Associate Director for Academic Affairs of the Fredonia School of Music. She holds the BM in Voice from Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, and holds an MM and DMA in Voice with concentration in vocal pedagogy from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Supplementary studies include a Performer's Certificate from the Royal School of Church Music, Great Britain.
