General Notes, Recommendations, and Warnings

  • DSL or Cable access to the Internet is essential. While a dial-up connection may work, accessing video or online testing will be difficult and may cause problems.
  • Do not install the beta version of any web browser. Since beta versions have not been tested with OnCourse, we cannot guarantee that they will work. If a new version of a web browser is released, you will receive notification when it can be installed.
  • Do not use Safari as your web browser on a Mac.
  • The listing above includes only the minimal requirements for an online course. Please check the course listing and syllabus for any additional requirements.
