Honduras: Health Care in Central America

This 2 credit course takes students to Nuevo Paraiso, Honduras to conduct medical brigades within local communities. Medical brigades allow students to participate in medical intake and observe practitioners as they see patients from around the community.

  • Eligible Participants: Students in good academic standing and community members are welcome to apply.
  • Application Deadline: April prior to the program running
  • $150 Deposit Deadline: July prior to the program running
  • Course Fee Deadline: Must be paid online no later than November prior to the program running
  • Cost: Please contact the Office of International Education for a program cost.
    (New budgets are generally available in the summer prior to the prorgam running.)
  • Application: Submit an application, one faculty reference (included in application) and a copy of your transcripts to the Office of International Education.
