Academic Exploration Mentor Program
The Academic Exploration Program provides Liberal Arts/Undecided students with the opportunity to participate in a peer mentor program, designed to promote persistence, provide opportunities that encourage success, and foster a sense of belonging.
The Academic Exploration Mentor Program aims to:
- Ease the transition from high school to college
- Build relationships between students, faculty, and staff
- Promotes academic and personal development
- Encourages student involvement

How the mentor program works:
- This is a voluntary program for Liberal Arts/Undecided students
- Students interested in participating in the mentor program must first complete an, Academic Exploration Mentor Program Interest Form*
- Mentees can expect to be able to incorporate the mentor program into their normal student life.
- The program offers skill-building workshops, major exploration opportunities, and assistance with navigating the resources available at Fredonia
