FSA Annual Community Meeting Announced
The Faculty Student Association will be holding its annual Community Meeting on Tuesday, April 30 at 3:30 p.m. in the Horizon Room of the Williams Center. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
Hillel ends Jewish History Month with Holocaust speaker
SUNY Fredonia’s student group, Hillel, will celebrate the last events of Jewish History Month with a presentation from Holocaust survivor, Sol Messinger, on Thursday, May 2, at 2:30 p.m. in the Horizon Room in the Williams Center, and a movie night April 24.

James Ivey to share highlights of Balinese culture from recent excursion
Dr. James Ivey, professor of theater at SUNY Fredonia, will present a lecture/demonstration devoted to his recent trip to Bali, Indonesia on Friday, April 19, at 3 p.m. at McEwen Hall Room G25. Ivey spent most of January in Ubud, Bali, studying the Balinese culture.
Curtain rises on senior capstone play "Holy Schnitzel"
“Holy Schnitzel,” a modern-day Jewish comedy written by Nicole King for her Women’s Studies senior capstone course, will be presented on Friday, April 26, at 9 p.m. at McEwen G26. The Performing Arts Company and Women’s Studies Program are assisting with the production, which is free and open to the public.
NewSound Festival welcomes cellist Zeigler
As part of the 13th Annual NewSound Festival at SUNY Fredonia, cellist Jeffrey Zeigler, a member of the world-renowned Kronos Quartet, will perform Tuesday, April 16, at 8 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Williams Center.

The SUNY Fredonia Safe Zone Committee will host a series of events during Ally Week, Monday through Friday, April 15 to 19, to raise awareness of issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/transsexual individuals with the goal of creating an open and just university.
