Big Apple Crunch on Oct. 21

Faculty Student Association organizers are asking the campus to help set the world record for participants in an “apple crunching” event at Fredonia’s first “Crunch Day” on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Held in conjunction with Food Day’s Big Apple Crunch 2015, the campus community is invited to the University Commons at 1 p.m. to grab an apple and join in on Fredonia’s “Crunch Day” photo.

EAP to host Fall Soup and Salad Day

The Employee Assistance Program will be hosting a Fall Soup and Salad Day on Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Horizon Room at the Williams Center. The event is for Fredonia faculty and staff to gather together to sample soups while sharing healthy soup and salad recipes to use during the cold winter months.

Women Running Fredonia!

Women Running Fredonia is a women’s only group that will incorporate running, jogging, and walking with discussion about topics that impact women. Women of all fitness levels are welcome! Women Running Fredonia is a no-pressure group aimed at improving the overall well-being and connectedness of women on Fredonia’s campus.

Fredonia is committed to providing a healthy, comfortable, and safe Tobacco-Free environment for its students, faculty, staff and visitors. For those members of the university community who are thinking about quitting the use of tobacco and are ready to get help, there are campus resources available.

Fredonia’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will be continuing its Path to Wellness Series with the program, “Say What You Mean the Right Way: Health Forms of Communication," on Thursday, April 16 at 1 p.m. in the Williams Center Room G103B.
