The hardware in the new Blue Devil eSports Lounge is top-of-the-line: 13 Alienware gaming desktop computers, two over-sized TV screens mounted on walls and three consoles (Xbox, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch). But what also stands out when entering the eSports Lounge is how all this technology is wrapped together by Fredonia blue.

Danielle Jacobs, a senior from Homer, N.Y., has been named Resident Assistant of the Month for October in recognition of her leadership within the Office of Residence Life. She was nominated for the honor by Residence Director Pat Toscano.
Leanna Hess, a senior Business Administration: Finance major from Williamson, has been selected as the August/September Resident Assistant of the Month by the Residence Life staff.
Fredonia will host a “SUNY's Got Your Back” event to stock comfort bags with personal hygiene products for victims and survivors of violence on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Williams Center Multipurpose Room.
Heather Han, a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Applied Music, has been chosen as the April 2019 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life. She was nominated for the award by Dr. Jack Croxton, her research supervisor.
Angeline Kimbrell, a senior majoring in Computer and Information Sciences with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies in programming, has been chosen as the February 2019 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life.
Grace Breen has been named “Resident Assistant of the Month” for November. Ms. Breen is in her second semester as a resident assistant at Hemingway Hall.
Shaunna Rospierski, a senior Public Relations major from Alden, has been chosen as the November 2018 Student of the Month by the Office of Residence Life. The nomination was made by Dr. Angela McGowan, an assistant professor in the Department of Communication.
