“African American Writing as World Literature,” the 2020 Robert W. Kasling Memorial Lecture, will be given by Department of English Professor Birger Vanwesenbeeck, on Sept. 14. The recipient of the 2020 William T. and Charlotte N. Hagan Young Scholar/Artist Award, Department of Physics Assistant Professor Michael Dunham, will also be recognized.
Summer research is returning, with seven undergraduate and graduate students scheduled to gain valuable experience working alongside Biology faculty, thanks to funding provided by the Holmberg Foundation and the Joseph and Jane (Schuster) Biology Endowment for Scholarship and Research.
Charles Mossey, a senior Music Performance major from Waterford, was recently awarded the Oasis Guitar Jury Prize, a $500 cash award that recognizes the Fredonia guitar student who exhibits the greatest improvement over the course of a semester.
