“What an incredible journey this has been!” That’s the exclamation point Interim Vice President for University Advancement and Fredonia College Foundation Executive Director Betty Gossett places on “Nurturing Innovation: The Campaign for Fredonia.”
Emily Calandrelli, an MIT engineer turned Emmy-nominated science television host, will serve as the keynote speaker for the Convocation 2020-2021 series at the State University of New York at Fredonia. Her address, “Empathetic Science Communication in an Increasingly Polarized World," will be presented over Zoom on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Amy Schmitt, an office assistant in the School of Music, has received the Poummit Secretarial Award, established through the Fredonia College Foundation and named in honor of Janet Marks, a former secretary to the Fredonia president.
