Works by 22 acclaimed contemporary artists will be on display when the Cathy and Jesse Marion Art Gallery hosts “Artists as Innovators: Celebrating Three Decades of New York State Council on the Arts/New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Fellowships” from Jan. 22 to March 10.
The 29th Fredonia Summer Music Festival at Fredonia continues its tradition of excellence with four summer music camps beginning in late June.The registration deadline is June 1 for all camps.
The follow-up CD to 2015’s ultra-popular “Built For Buffalo” recording of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra features two Fredonia faculty. “Built For Buffalo 2" released on the BPO’s house label, Beau Fleuve, and recorded over four years, it features the world premiere recordings of three pieces commissioned for BPO musicians.
