Fredonia Enactus will host the “Bucketz for Billups” 3 on 3 basketball tournament in honor of alumnus Amir Billups to raise funds for the Dunkirk Boys and Girls Club of America on Saturday, March 28 at 4:30 p.m. in Dods Hall. The event will commemorate the life of Mr. Billups, a star athlete in Western New York who played basketball at Fredonia.
Fredonia defeated nationally ranked St. John Fisher, 17-10, in women's lacrosse on March 24. The Blue Devils improved to 6-1 with the win over the Cardinals, who fell to 5-2 and entered the week at No. 17 in the IWLCA NCAA Division III poll.

Fredonia senior Zakk Hess (Newark, N.Y./North Rose - Wolcott) set a school indoor record in the 3,000-meter run Saturday while competing at Cornell. Hess rounded the Barton Hall oval in 8:30.03 to take down Kevin Rumsey's 1983 record of 8:30.24.
Fredonia scored the first six goals of the second half Tuesday to pull away from Rowan in non-conference women's lacrosse. The Blue Devils improve to 3-1 this spring with the 14-8 win at the National Training Center.
