The 2015 Department of Mathematical Sciences Awards Banquet was held on April 23 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Dunkirk, NY.  Approximately 85 people attended.  Click here to view photos from the event.

Danielle Long, principal of Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, was presented with the Sherry Dole Excellence in Mentorship Award.  This award recognizes an area mathematics teacher/administrator who has provided outstanding support to our student teachers.

Founding members Dr. Fred Byham and Dennis Cecala, along with current members Dillon Castro, Leah Kleiman, Travis Mirabella, and Rosalie Siciliano, helped induct 22 new members into Pi Mu Epsilon, the national honorary mathematics society.  The following students were honored:
