2020 Graduates Future Plans

Morgan A. Davidson (B.A. Criminal Justice) is pursuing work as an Offender Rehabilitation Coordinator, through New York State.

Avril M. King (B.S. Communication-Public Relations, B.A. Communication-Journalism) graduated summa cum laude and is working as a Digital Communications Specialist with Vervology in the Syracuse area. 

Brandon Prise (B.S. Communication-Media Management) plans to go directly into his family business (First Prise Properties) started by my his (John Prise) and uncle (Tim Prise).

2019 Graduates' Future Plans

Where are they now?

Rachel Arnold (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending Emerson College in the fall to pursue her M.S. in Communication Disorders and Sciences

Kayleigh Bates (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) graduated magna cum laude and will be attending SUNY Cortland in the fall to pursue a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Lyric Boothe (B.S. Music Therapy) graduated summa cum laude and is completing her eight-month full-time music therapy internship. She will then sit for her board certification exam.

Mary DiCioccio (B.S. Math Adolescence Education) graduated summa cum laude and was a Student Marshal at Commmencement. She will be attending Boston College to pursue a M.S.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction as a member of the Urban Catholic Teachers Corps. She will be working as a high school mathematics teacher at Cristo Rey Boston High School.

Tina Delaine Graham (B.S. Exercise Science) graduated cum laude and will be attending graduate school at D'Youville College in Buffalo in its Doctor of Chiropractic program.

Gabriel Lavine (B.S. Marketing) graduated cum laude and plans to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in marketing.

Patrick Reuman (B.S. Medical Technology) graduated magna cum laude and will be employed as a Medical Lab Scientist at Olean General Hospital.

Rebecca Rupolo (M.S. Ed. Literacy Birth-12) is a special education teacher at Jefferson Middle School within the Jamestown (N.Y.) Public School System.

Tina Santucci (B.S. Ed. Childhood Education Math 7-9) graduated magna cum laude and in the fall will begin a master's degree program at SUNY Geneseo, with the end goal of becoming a middle school math teacher.

Ashley Santo (B.S. Accounting) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending St. John Fischer College in Rochester to pursue an M.B.A. in Accounting.

Courtney Sieg (B.S. Social Work) has accepted a full-time counseling position at Transitional Services, Inc.

2018 Graduates' Future Plans

Where are they now?

Cori Barnard (B.S. Communications-Public Relations) will be working full-time in higher education as an Admissions Counselor at Paul Smith's College in the Adirondacks.

Jenna Hart (B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies-International Studies) will be serving with the Peace Corps in 2018 as an Agriculture Sector Volunteer in Senegal.

Karissa Lubberts (B.A. Visual Arts and New Media) graduated summa cum laude and will spend her summer at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo with an internship in its Education Department.

Ashley Macy (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) graduated summa cum laude and will be attend Syracuse University beginning in the fall to pursue a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. She adds, "I am thankful for my time in Fredoia and for getting me to where I am today."

Kayla Noll (B.A. English) graduated magna cum laude and has been accepted into the University at Buffalo's Library and Information Sciences program. She will begin her studies there in the fall.

Samantha Ticker (B.F.A. Production Design) on May 21 will become the Facilities Administrator at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in the Berkshires in Massachusetts.

2017 Graduates' Future Plans

Where are they now?

Amanda Acebedo (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) graduated magna cum laude and is pursuing a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University.

Lindsey Alday (B.S. Business Administration/Management) graduated summa cum laude and will be part of the CAP internship program, an eight-week full-time paid internship in Chautauqua County. She then will attend St. Bonaventure Univresity to pursue an M.B.A. with a Finance related track.

Holly Alper (Mus.B. Music Performance) graduated cum laude and will be attending the New England Conservatory to pursue a Master of Music degree in Double Bass Performance.

Corie Lynn Barkey (M.M. Music Therapy) holds a full-time music therapy position with Baker Victory Services Early Childhood Program, and is the owner of Buffalo Southtowns Music Therapy private practice.

Jonathan Batres (B.S. Social Work) graduated magna cum laude and plans on attending Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in January 2018.

Robyn Baun (B.F.A. Acting) graduated summa cum laude and will be a member of the ensemble in "Macbeth" at Shakespeare in Delaware Park in Buffalo this summer.

Zachary Beaudoin (B.A. English, B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies/International Studies) graduated magna cum laude. He hopes to stay in France for a year and then return to the U.S. for law school and work in Washington, D.C.

Jasmine Bell (B.A. Music - Applied) will be attending graduate school at SUNY Buffalo State to pursue a master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration.

Samantha M. Betts (B.S. Chemistry) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending Syracuse University in its Chemistry Ph.D. program with a fellowship.

Joshua Carey (B.F.A. Musical Theatre) graduated magna cum laude and is working as a Lead Singer at Cedar Point's "Luminosity" show over the summer, then moving to New York City to pursue a career in acting.

Emily Chaffee (B.A. English Adolescence Education) graduated magna cum laude, and plans to move to Buffalo to look for a high school English teaching position in the Western New York area.

Rebecca Champlin (B.S.Ed. Early and Childhood Education-Music) is graduated summa cum laude and has accepted a teaching position in Rochester, N.Y.

Alyssa Clark (B.A. English) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending the University Rhode Island in the fall to pursue a dual-degree master's program in English and Library Science.

Riley Cox (B.A. History) has been accepted in to the Master of Archival Studies degree program at Clayton State University in Georgia. While attending school, Riley will also work in an archival position at Emory University.

Amanda Destro (B.S.Ed. Childhood Inclusive Education English) graduated cum laude and will attend SUNY Buffalo State College in the fall to pursue a Literacy Specialist (birth through grade 12) master's degree.

Carly Dieck (B.F.A. Musical Theatre) graduated summa cum laude and will work as an Acting Apprentice at the Barn Theatre in Augusta, Mich., it its EMC program.

Sarah Dresnack (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated magna cum laude and has been offered a music teaching position in a public school district near Binghamton.

Hayley Gill (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated summa cum laude and is seeking a position in music education.

Madeleine Goc (B.A. English Adolescence Education) graduated summa cum laude and will be pursuing a master's degree in English at the Bread Loaf School of English in New Mexico, where she will also be employed as its Social Media Coordinator.

Michelle Guilford (B.A. Psychology, B.S. Communication/Public Relations) will be attending Iona College for graduate school to study Organizational/Industrial Psychology.

Jason Handron (Mus.B. Music Composition) graduated summa cum laude and will be pursuing a Master of Music degree in Composition at Bowling Green State University, where he will be a graduate assistant in music theory/aural skills.

Angelo Heimowitz (B.F.A. Acting) graduated cum laude and will work at Shakeaspeare in Delaware Park as Seyton in a production of "Macbeth" this summer, and doing various theatre work in the Buffalo area.

Jenna Hockwater (B.A. English Adolescence Education) graduated cum laude and will move to Stafford, Va., where she will be teaching English at Mountain View High School.

Leanne Hofstead (B.A. Psychology) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending the State University at Buffalo in its M.A./A.C. program in School Psychology.

Mark Hughes (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending graduate school in Music Performance at Michigan State University.

Stevie Jackson (B.F.A. Musical Theatre) graduated summa cum laude and will be in Pittsburgh, Pa., this summer to work in a traveling dinner theatre, "Musical Mysteries & More." In August, will be going on tour with Brightstar touring theatre, and then plans to continue building her acting resume. Eventually, she hopes to go to graduate school.

Autumn Joseph (B.S.Ed. Early Childhood and Childhood Education) plans to pursue graduate studies in literacy education.

Zoe Kiriazis (B.A. Theatre Arts) will work at the ticket agency at Chautauqua Institution this summer and then move back to Ithaca to work at Cornell University.

Rachel Lester (B.S. Social Work) will begin working to gain experience and search for a Social Work-related career.

Ilana Lieberman (B.F.A. Acting) graduated summa cum laude and has been hired as a performer for Disney Cruise Lines.

Daniel Luong (B.S. Computer Science, B.A. Music-Applied) graduated magna cum laude and has accepted a job as an Associate Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin. He also plans to pursue a M.S. in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Nicholas Luparello (B.S. Finance, B.A. Economics) graduated cum laude and is working at Citi Group as a Residential Mortgage Analyst.

Ian McLaughlin (Mus.B. Music Education) will be attending West Chester University of Pennsylvania to pursue a master's degree in Instrumental Conducting.

Alison Malcolm (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) graduated magna cum laude and will be attending SUNY New Paltz in the fall to pursue a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Mitchell Marg (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated cum laude and is attending graduate school at Appalachian State University in North Carolina to pursue a Master of Music in Percusison Performance. He will have a percussion/band assistantship and has been granted a North Carolina Tuition Scholarship.

Michael Maroney (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated summa cum laude and will start his M.S. degree in Music Performance for Percussion at the University of Southern Mississippi in the fall, while working as a graduate assistant in its percussion studio.

Tyler Marvin (Mus.B. Music Performance) graduated magna cum laude and will be attending the University of North Texas to pursue a master's degree in Percussion Performance.

Rebecca Masiker (B.F.A. Graphic Design) graduated summa cum laude and has accepted a full-time job offer from Catapult Creative, a creative services company in Dayton, Ohio. After a few years of working in the industry, she plans on applying to a M.F. A. program in graphic design.

Colleen Milholland (B.S. Music Therapy) will be completing a music therapy internship through various school districts in Western New York. In the fall, she will be attending Fredonia for graduate studies in music therapy.

Allison Mullin (B.S.Ed. Childhood Education-Math. 7-9) graduated summa cum laude and is attending Teachers College at Columbia University in New York City to pursue her master's degree in Elementary Professional Curriculum and Teaching.

Whitney Nightingale (Mus.B. Music Performance) graduated summa cum laude and will be pursuing a M.A. in Music Performance at Pensacola Christian College in Florida.

Steven D. Palmerton (B.A. Psychology) graduated cum laude and accepted a recruitment position for an engineering recruitment agency in Manhattan.

Allison Reding (B.A. Psychology) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending graduate school at the State University at Buffalo in the fall to pursue a Master of Arts/Advanced Certificate in School Psychology.

Danielle Rennicks (Mus.B. Music Education) is working over the summer and taking certification exams. Her goal is a teaching job in an area school district. She also hopes to travel.

Jessica Ruber (B.S.Ed. Childhood Inclusive Education-English 7-9) graduated summa cum laude and returning to Fredonia in the fall to begin a master's degree program in Literacy Birth-12.

Amanda Scranton (B.S. Music Therapy) graduated summa cum laude and will be attending graduate school.

Hannah Shea (B.F.A. Animation/Ilustration) graduated summa cum laude and is auditing courses to build her portfolio, working, and continues to apply for internships and jobs in the animation field.

Patrick Shenal (B.A. Economics, Mus.B. Music Performance) graduated summa cum laude and accepted an offer with considerable funding from the University of Rochester to pursue a Master of Science degree in Finance. Over the summer, he will be attending the Rotoract Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) conference for District 7090 in June at Fredonia.

K. Nicole Sidorowicz (B.F.A. Theatrical Production and Design) traveled to Orlando, Fla., shortly after graduating to interview for a full-time job at Disney World as a Sewing Specialist.

Haley Smialek (B.F.A. Musical Theatre) graduated summa cum laude and will be a tour actor/director for the Missoula Children's Theatre, touring the continental U.S.

Trevor Smith (B.S. Public Accounting) graduated summa cum laude and will join The Bonadio Group in December as an assistant accountant.

Kenneth Wilson Starr (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated magna cum laude and was accepted into Fredonia's Music Education master's degree program. He will also be returning to the university as a Graduate Residence Hall Director.

David Stedge (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated summa cum laude and this summer will be traveling to France and Germany with the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp International Youth Symphony Orchestra as a counselor and principal flute in the orchestra as part of its international exchange program. His future plans include attending the West Virginia University to pursue a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance, and has been awarded a Flute Studio Assistantship, serving as a graduate assistant to the flute studio and throughout the school of Music. He had also been accepted to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for graduate studies.

Yunshu Tan (M.M. Music Education) will be attending graduate school at Penn State University.

Megan Termini (B.S. Business Administration) has a full-time marketing internship at The Buffalo News.

Scott Wheeler (Mus.B. Music Education) will attend Dusquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa., to pursue a master's degree in Tenor Trombone Performance, with a full assistantship.

Johanna Wiley (Mus.B. Music Education) has a second major in Music Performance. She graduated summa cum laude and received a graduate assistantship at Ithaca College for Trombone Performance.

Alexander Wisbey (B.S. Accounting) has accepted a full-time position as a Treasury Reconcilation Analyst at Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Stephanie Ahearn (B.A. Psychology) will relocate to Boulder, Colo., to pursue a master's degree in transpersonal psychology.

Tatianna Baker (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) is graduating summa cum laude and will be attending Nazareth College to pursue a master's degree in Speech Pathology. She hopes to work in an early intervention setting after she completes her degree.

Emily Barber (B.S. Communication-Communication Studies) is graduating magna cum laude and will be attending Canisius College in pursuit of a master's degree in Communication and Leadership with a concentration in Managing Not-For-Profit Organizations.

Tyler Brown (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) is graduating summa cum laude and will be attending SUNY Plattsburgh to pursue a master's degree in Communication Disorders and Science.

Ralph L. Farrell (B.S. Computer Information Systems, B.A. Political Science) has accepted an Information Technology Specialist Programming Class 2 position as a New York State Employee in the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

Phillip Frankino (B.S. Biochemistry) graduated cum laude and will be attending the University of California at Berkley to study Molecular and Cell Biology in pursuit of a Ph.D.

Jeannie Galbraith (B.S. Psychology, B.S. Social Work) will be working with AmeriCorps for three months over the summer into the fall, then attending graduate school at West Virginia University, in pursuit of a Master of Social Work degree in Community Organizing and Social Administration.

Ashley Gangi (B.S.Ed. Early and Childhood Education-Math.) is graduating cum laude and has been accepted into the Literacy Education Birth-12 master's degree program at Fredonia.

Jamie Harris (M.S. Speech-Language Pathology) will be working as a speech-language pathologist clinical fellow in a pediatric facility in South San Francisco, Calif.

James E. Hartmann II (Mus.B. Music Education) is graduating cum laude and has accepted a position as Director of Music at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kendall, is opening his own piano and voice studio, and pursuing a public school teaching position.

Jordan Hawkins (B.S Communication-Public Relations) is graduating magna cum laude and will attend the University at Buffalo Law School.

Kaitlyn Hayes (B.S. Business Administration-Marketing) is graduating magna cum laude and will be working for Frito Lay as a Sales Management Associate in Buffalo.

Sydney Menigoz (B.A. Psychology) has received a full scholarship to attend graduate school at Eastern Illinois University to pursue a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling.

Gregory Moore (M.M. Music Performance) will be preparing for auditions into doctoral programs in music performance.

Shannon Lee Schwarberg (B.S. Social Work) will begin in May as a Red Cross Disaster Relief Specialist/volunteer for the summer. In the fall, she will begin a master's degree at Canisius College in Buffalo, studying Community and School Health.

Jennifer Scofield (B.S. Social Work) will be attending SUNY Stony Brook to pursue a master's degree with a focus on women's heawlth or early intervention education services.

Allison Snavely (Mus.B. Music Education) is graduating cum laude and will work as an in-school site coordinator, coordinating before and after school care, as well as a private vocal teacher. She plans to pursue a master's degree in vocal performance.

Lucy Anne Spena (B.S.Ed. Early and Childhood Education) will be attending Binghamton University to pursue a master's degree in Special Education for early childhood students.

Class President Stephanie A. Willis (B.S. Communication-Public Relations) is graduating magna cum laude and has accepted a job in as a restaurant and banquet hall manager at a resort on Lake George in the Adirondacks. Her future professional goal is to pursue a master's degree in higher education.

2015 Graduates' Future Plans

Where are they now?

Lia Biscardi (B.S. Biology Adolescence Education) is in her first year as a full-time teacher at New Bern High School (New Bern, N.C.), where she teaches physical science and biology. She is also pursuing her North Carolina teaching license and master's degree.

James Fefes (B.S. Computer Science) has secured a position as a Web Applications Developer for The Outdoor Group in Henrietta.

Samantha Gaudio (B.S. Ed, Early Childhood Education) will be a teacher's aide at the Creative Kids Club childcare center in Bethlehem, Pa., this summer. In the fall, she will be attending Hofstra University for graduate studies in its Special Education Early Childhood Intervention program in pursuit of a Master of Science in Early Childhood Special Education and an advanced certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis.

Cara Kinney (Mus.B., Music Performance - Saxophone and B.S., Communication/Audio-Radio) will be attending Boston University in pursuit of her master's degree in saxophone performance.

Nicole Murray (Mus.B. Music Performance - Flute) will be an office assistant during the summer of 2015 at the Rocky Ridge Music Center in Estes Park, Colo., which presents a prestigious music festival. In Fall 2015, she will be entering graduate school at the State University at Buffalo to pursue dual degrees - a Master of Arts in Music History and a Master of Music in Music Performance.

William "Will" Webber (B.A., French and B.S., International Studies) graduated magna cum laude and will be going to a NAFSA (National Association of Foreign Student Advisers) Conference for International Educators in Boston, Mass., at the end of May. In June, he will travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to teach English, be the advisor of English Club and help establish a student government at a high school until August 2016. Starting in Fall 2016, he will be attending George Washington University in Washington, D.C., in pursuit of a Master of Arts degree in International Education. Will also offered the Opening Reflection at Commencement.

2014 Graduates' Future Plans

Jamilla Adams (B.S.Ed. Childhood Inclusive Education English) is a co-teacher at Leadership Prep Elementary.

Amanda Bottoms (Mus.B. Music Performance) will be attending the Julliard School of Music in the fall to pursue a master's degree in Vocal Performance, studying with Marlena Malas. She received the P.J. Hoyland Memorial Scholarship and the H. & A. Ziegle Jr. Scholarship to assist with her tuition.

Amanda Bradford (B.S. Social Work) will be attending Boston College's Graduate School of Social Work in its advanced standing Master in Social Work degree program.

Jannae Bratcher (B.A. Psychology) graduated Magna Cum Laude and has been accepted into the University of Denver's Master of Arts degree program in Forensic Psychology for Fall 2014.

Lindsey Buck (B.A. English Adolescence Education) graduated Summa Cum Laude and will be attending the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester to pursue a degree as a Literacy Specialist/Literacy Coach.

Mary Cappotelli (B.A. Psychology) graduated Summa Cum Laude and will be attending Alfred University in pursuit of her Psy.D. in School Psychology.

Loryn Chase (B.S. Biology) graduated Magna Cum Laude and will be attending SUNY Binghamton in the fall to pursue a second bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Alissa Mari Cole (B.S.Ed. Childhood Inclusive Education English 7-9) graduated Cum Laude and will begin graduate studies in the summer at the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester in its M.S. Teaching Students With Multiple and Severe Disabilities program.

Gabrielle D'Imperio (B.A. Spanish) will be participating in Canterbury TEFL Summer Course Madrid, teaching English to elementary Spanish students at summer camps throughout Spain. After earning the International TEFL Certification, she will be provided a guaranteed job teaching English in Madrid.

Danielle Dineen (B.A. Psychology) had a second major in Sociology, graduated Magna Cum Laude and will be attending Stetson School of Law in Gulfport, Fla., on a full tuition scholarship.

Erin Dorozynski (B.S. Business Administration-Management) graduated Cum Laude and will be starting the GEICO Management Development Program in July. Erin is also former President of the Student Association.

Nicholas J. Dragonette (B.S. Biology) graduated Magna Cum Laude and has been accepted to and will be attending the State University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

Elizabeth Drescher (B.S.Ed. Childhood Inclusive Education English) is completing her first semester in the Advanced Special Education master's degree program at Canisius College in Buffalo, with an expected date of graduation in May 2015. She is also working at the Fredonia Campus and Community Children's Center and in the fall will be substitute teaching in the Silver Creek and Dunkirk City school districts.

Emaleigh Dudley (B.S. Communication-Public Relations) will be working in IT and software development at the headquarters of Advantage Sales and Marketing in Irvine, Calif.

Jeremy Eddy (B.S. Geology) graduated Magna Cum Laude, was selected to serve as a Student Marshal at Commencement, and has been accepted to a master's degree program at the University of Kentucky, working with Dr. Kevin Yeager in the Sedimentology, Environmental, Radiochemical Research Laboratory (SER2L).

Chloe Elberty (B.A. English) of Rochester graduated Summa Cum Laude and will be attending Cornell University Law School in the fall in pursuit of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Ryan Glynn (B.F.A. Acting) graduated Cum Laude and this summer will be playing Touchstone in the Camden Shakespeare Festival's production of "As You Like It." In the spring of 2015 he will be touring with the Hampstead Stage Company, an educational theatre company, with "Shakespeare for the Common Core" including, "Romeo and Juliet," and "Pinocchio."

Mercedes Gonzalez (B.S.Ed. Childhood Inclusive Education Math 7-9 Extension) graduated Cum Laude with plans to complete the New York State Teaching Certification Exams this summer, and is applying for teaching positions. She is also Senior Group Leader in a middle school after-school program at the Eastside YMCA in Jamestown, and plans to pursue a master's degree in TESOL or Curriculum and Instruction.

Lydia R. Gruber (B.S. Biology Adolescence Education) graduated Magna Cum Laude and has accepted a job as a middle school science teacher in Richmond, Va.

Cory D. Jackson (B.S. Biology) graduated Summa Cum Laude and will be attending the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Samantha Kaser (Mus.B. Music Education) graduated Cum Laude and will be moving to Kansas to attend Wichita State University to pursue a master's degree in Special Music Education. She will also be teaching fifth through tenth grade band for two years at a Seventh Day Adventist Church school through an assistantship.

Carl Lam (B.A. Applied Music and Communication-Journalism, and B.S. Communication-Audio/Radio Production) graduated Summa Cum Laude and will receive the Lanford Presidential Prize at Commencement. Also a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence, Carl will attend Canisius College to pursue a master's degree in College Student Personnel Administration with an assistantship in academic advising.

George Limb (Mus.B. Music Education) will be attending the University of Akron School of Music in the fall to pursue a master's degree in String Performance.

Alyssa Macaluso (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) graduated Magna Cum Laude and will be attending graduate school at SUNY Fredonia in pursuit of a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Dana Manza (B.S. Social Work) graduated Cum Laude and has been accepted into the advanced standing program for her Master of Social Work at Adelphi University on Long Island.

Annastacia Maynard (B.S. Geology) graduated Magna Cum Laude and will be attending Kansas State University in the fall where she will be studying kimberlites and pursuing a master's degree in Geology.

Coulter T. McPhail (B.S. Geology) graduated Cum Laude and has an internship in California with the U.S. Geological Survey, where he will be working in hydrology, focusing on the Klamath Lake area of Oregon.

Brittany Noble (B.S.Ed. Childhood Inclusive Education/English) graduated Cum Laude and will be attending SUNY Fredonia for graduate school in its Literacy Education program.

Alison D. Phillips (B.A. English Adolescence Education) graduated Summa Cum Laude and will be attending the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester in pursuit of a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

Mary Porcaro (Mus.B. Music Education) has been offered a General Music position in elementary education in Yuma, Ariz. This summer she will be working as a music teacher at the Southampton Racquet Club and Camp.

Steven Russell (B.F.A. Musical Theatre) will be in the acting company of the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, performing the role of Marius in "Les Miserables," in the ensemble in "Schrek," and in the role of Swing in "Hands on a Hardbody."

Chelsea St. George (B.S. Mathematics) graduated Magna Cum Laude and has accepted an Actuarial Analyst position at Independent Health in Buffalo. She plans on completing her Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) qualification to become an actuary.

Kyle Smolinski (B.S. Computer Science) graduated in January 2014, moved to Pittsburgh, Pa., and works for the Oncology Nursing Society, a non-profit organization that trains oncology nurses in cancer treatment. A current project is working with the development team, creating new ways to collect and transfer information between the organization's internal systems, and redesigning the network infrastructure for easier future expansion.

Ashley Szalkowski (B.S. Biology) will be attending the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Mass., after completing her Fredonia degree in December, in pursuit of a Doctor of Optometry degree.

Morgan Taylor (B.S. Social Work) graduated Cum Laude and has been accepted into the Advanced Standing Program at the State University at Buffalo to pursue a Master of Social Work degree.

Ashley Wheeler (B.S. Communication Disorders and Sciences) graduated Summa Cum Laude and will be attending the graduate school at Nazareth College in Rochester to pursue a master's degree for a career as a speech-language pathologist.

Samantha Zywar (B.S. Social Work) will be attending the State University at Buffalo School of Social Work to pursue a Master of Social Work degree. She has also been offered a part-time job as a social worker at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County.
