Residence Hall Move-In

  • Sunday, January 19, 2020 - 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Monday, January 20, 2020- 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

All new and returning students may report directly to their assigned Residence Hall at this time.  For new incoming students, it is highly suggested you have your FREDCard ID processed from the FSA Office (1st Floor Gregory Hall) prior to check-in.

New Student Orientation and Registration

  • Tuesday, January 21, 2020 - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This program is required for all new incoming undergraduate students.  All students will meet with an academic advisor and review their course schedule during this program.  In addition, other required information will be provided throughout the day.  Registration is available online between October 1- January 18,.  After that date, you must contact the office of New Student and Transition Programs by phone at 716-673-4969 to register.  There is no advance cost to attend, rather all new incoming students are charged a one-time orientation fee to their semester bill.  (Please be aware that this fee is applied, even if a student does not attend the program.)

  • Student leaders will be available to answer questions or point you in the right direction.  Campus maps and tours will be available!

Campus Tours (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m./Williams Center)

  • Student leaders are happy to show you around.  Feel free to bring your preliminary course schedule with you as well.

Don't Dine Alone- Meet the Orientation Leaders (4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m./Cranston Marche- University Commons)

  • Join us for dinner and meet the Orientation Leaders; they are happy to answer any questions you might have about getting involved on campus, exploring a major, or where to find important resources.
