Daily Admissions Sessions & Campus Tours

We offer information sessions and tours weekdays when classes are in session. You'll meet with an admissions counselor during the first hour of your visit. A student-guided, 1.5 mile-long WALKING TOUR of campus follows the information session and lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

DUE TO CONSTRUCTION on campus - the daily admissions session and campus tour will start in Mason Hall. Please check your confirmation email for detailed directions and parking instructions. Visitors for daily sessions will park at the Campus Park & Ride location, and should ride the campus shuttle to Mason Hall.

Open Houses

Open House programs provide you the opportunity to visit Fredonia on a weekend or holiday. The program includes a campus tour, presentations from admissions and the academic department of your choice, and opportunities to ask all of your questions. All Open House sessions run from 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Advanced registration is required.

Saturday Visit

Designed for prospective freshman, we offer Saturday Visits to accommodate those who cannot visit Fredonia when classes are in session. The group information session begins by appointment at 10:00 a.m. and is followed by a campus tour, concluding at approximately 12:30 p.m. There are no opportunities to meet with faculty members or other campus representative during Saturday Visits (those opportunities are available during Open Houses)

Transfer Saturday Visit

The Transfer Saturday Visit, held November 5, 2011 and April 21, 2012, is designed for prospective transfer students. The program includes a tour of the campus, participation in presentations with admissions personnel and an academic dean, and allows you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. The visit runs from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Advanced registration is required.

Group Visits (offered Mondays only)

If you are planning to bring a group of students to campus, we can arrange a special visit for your students. Check out our group visits page for more information.

Summer Visits 2012

Sessions begin in June 1 and continue through mid-August. We offer general information sessions and walking tours most weekdays by appointment. Summer visits include a one-hour group information session followed by a tour of the campus lasting approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Please note that our campus covers approximately 250 acres. While you won't be walking the entire campus, you will be covering a good distance. Be prepared for the walk and the weather, whatever it might bring.

Monday through Friday: The day begins at 10 a.m. with a one-hour information session, after which we offer a tour of campus, beginning at approximately 11 a.m.. Your visit will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m. If you wish to meet with specific academic departments, please arrange that around our visitation times. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer tours outside the times listed.

June Preview Day

This program gives juniors in high school the chance to tour our campus with current students, discuss different programs of study, learn about opportunities for financial aid and scholarships, and discuss the college selection and application process with our admissions representatives. The event will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Register online for our June Preview Day Program.
