New Anatomy and Physiology Couses for Fall 2011

Biology Department to offer new Anatomy and Physiology courses

Due to the increasing interest in health professions, the department has expanded its anatomy and physiology course offerings.

Commencing fall 2011, a new two semester Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II sequence will be offered. This will be of particular benefit and interest to students interested in the allied health professions, medical technology, pharmacy, physician assistant, physical therapy, and nursing. The courses will be taught by Dr. Fred Harrington.

The department will also be offering a junior/senior level course in Mammalian Physiology and Comparative Anatomy. These upper level courses will be of interest to upper level Biology majors and especially students interested in medicine, dentistry, veterinary and optometry. The courses will be taught by Dr. Scott Medler.
