Assistant Professor – Vertebrate Physiologist

Vertebrate Physiologist: The Biology Department at Fredonia has a tenure track opening at the Assistant Professor level for a broadly trained vertebrate physiologist beginning in the Fall of 2011. Candidates must possess a PhD, a strong commitment to teaching and research in a liberal arts environment and a strong commitment to pre-professional health education. Postdoctoral research is expected and teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities include teaching upper level courses in mammalian physiology, courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and non-majors courses. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research program that involves undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students and leads to grant applications and publication in peer reviewed journals.
