 The COIL’s role is to coordinate campus efforts to further internationalize the academic curriculum. This  includes working with a variety of faculty, academic programs and departments, and campus administrators to encourage ways to increase faculty and student learning about global issues.

2010-11 Fulbright Scholar Program now accepting applications. Deadline is August 1. Check www.cies.org for more information

 2010-11 U.S. Student Program Competition now open. Applications must be submitted electronically and in hard copy to Ted Schwalbe by the campus closing date of October 10, 2009. National deadline October 19. For more information, interested students should visit the Fulbright U.S. Student Program website at www.us.fulbrightonline.org

     Some interesting changes to the program for 2010-11. English Teaching Assistantships are now available in 43 countries and are excellent opportunities for graduating seniors. Applicants for this now only need submit a one-page Statement of Grant Purpose and one-page Personal Statement. Also new - Mexico, Spain, and Germany have included specific opportunities for business (Spain has a one-year international MBA program) and journalism.
