Our faculty consists of highly-trained and abundantly experienced artists and teachers dedicated to giving you the best education and training. All our faculty are experienced professional performers and designers who continue to be active in their fields of expertise. We are a resident faculty dedicated to undergraduate education. All our major classes are taught by our resident full-time faculty, and our 14-1 average ratio of student to teacher makes sure you get individual attention. Our faculty also spend countless hours outside the classroom with students in extra coaching sessions, advising sessions, rehearsals, or additional shop time. Working side-by-side with faculty, students receive intense, personal mentoring as they progress through the program.
Upon graduation, students can immediately tap into our network of alumni working in
the profession. We have an alumni network of students who have graduated as far back
as 25 years ago and still maintain contact with the department. Many of our students
work in all aspects of the profession, including working in regional theatres, national
tours, and yes, even on Broadway. Many other students go on to achieve success in
a vast array of professions, and credit their training in the department as a major
reason for their success. Our Alumni page will give you some idea of the various careers our graduates have found.
