Lucky Lanes of Fredonia hosted a field trip by the Department of Communication’s Ambassador program.
A total of 94 games were bowled at a SUNY Fredonia Department of Communication’s Ambassador program field trip to Lucky Lanes on Sept. 26 that attracted 29 first-year and transfer students in the Communication program, 15 ambassadors or veteran Communication majors and three faculty members – Associate Professor and Chair Roslin Smith and adjunct lecturers Elisabeth Davis and Nicholas Smith.
Each participant bowled two games, and several also played pool after completing their games. Associate Professor Mike Igoe also attended the event.
The Ambassadors program pairs up a senior, enrolled in COMM 359: Special Topics in Communication, with new students, enrolled in COMM 199: Communication Orientation, to help them make a smooth transition to Fredonia life.
The trip to the Fredonia bowling alley was the second of four field trips planned this semester by the new Ambassador program.
