Mrs. Williams has experience working with both children and adults in a variety of settings including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation units, home health care agencies, outpatient clinics, early intervention services and sub-acute and long term health care facilities. Mrs. Williams was appointed Clinic Director of the Youngerman Center for Communication Disorders Fall 2013. She supervises students in the graduate program and also teaches graduate level courses. Mrs. Williams is the coordinator of the Stroke/Head Injury Support Group which was started in 2004. Mrs. Williams was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service 2011-2012.

Teaching Interests
Mrs. Williams taught the CDS 555- Dysphagia Summer 2003 through Fall 2013, and CDS 608 Neurogenic Language Disorders (as needed) at the graduate level. She is currently teaching CDS 557 Counseling for the Speech Language Pathologist and CDS 589 Professional Issues.
