The week is observed nationally from April 18-24, and the students are conducting most of their group work over the next two weeks at Fredonia. The official kick-off was with Dr. Jeffrey DuBois’ presentation on Friday, April 16 in Jewett Hall.

The projects include:

  • Tuesday, April 20 – Evening Open House, Jewett 101. Students from campus, local H.S. and the public have been invited. Powerpoint presentation, refreshments and prizes.
  • Wednesday afternoon, April 21 – Balloon game next to Cranston Marche. Q&A with prizes.
  • Week of April 25 - Information dissemination to 6 local High schools. Students are taking posters and brochures and talking with guidance counselors and science teachers.
