Bequest of $500,000 given by alumna

Dorothy (Lockwood) Anderson, a 1927 graduate of the Fredonia Normal School, bequeathed a gift to SUNY Fredonia that will amount to approximately $500,000, President Dennis L. Hefner announced. The gift is among the largest ever received from a graduate of the university.

Handel's "Messiah" sold out for Dec. 9 performance

The upcoming SUNY Fredonia presentation of Handel’s “Messiah” has been sold out. Composed by George Frederic Handel in 1741, “Messiah,” with its musical narrative of the coming of Christian salvation, is a time-honored Christmas tradition in countries throughout the world.
