On Nov. 6, citizens of New York State will be choosing a governor, a U.S. Senator, all their members of the U.S. House of Representatives, and all members of the New York State Senate and Assembly. A sheriff will also be elected in Chautauqua County. Students have two ways to vote in the general election: by mailing an absentee ballot to their home county board of elections or by registering and voting in person in Fredonia.
Fredonia will host the Feeding Fredonia Challenge, a town-wide food donation drive to assist the Fredonia Food Pantry, from Monday through Friday, Oct. 15-19. Donations of non-perishable food can be placed at various campus locations.
Cell phones across the Fredonia campus - and across the country - will receive a message during a nationwide wireless emergency alert TEST this week. The TEST is scheduled for 2:18 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3. When you receive this message, you do NOT need to call University Police.
