The State University of New York at Fredonia acknowledges that faculty are teachers, scholars, professionals, and lifelong learners. Preference will be given to:

  • Tenure-track faculty or professionals in their first 5 years of employment at the professional level at SUNY Fredonia
  • Faculty and professionals who have not previously received the award

The Professional Development Center Board awards this with a grant from the Fredonia College Foundation. The PDC Board is responsible for reviewing applications and making award recommendations to the Provost, who grants the awards on behalf of the Fredonia College Foundation.
