The Fred Pride Coalition’s (FPC) last event of the semester will be a Thanksgiving/Holiday Potluck.

It will be held in the Fenton Hall Room 127 (Lounge) on Tuesday Nov. 10 from 4 to 6:15 p.m.

Those attending are asked to please bring a dish or drink to share with everyone. FPC will provide plates, napkins, cups, etc. Attendees are asked to R.s.v.p. by emailing Lee Golembiewski by Friday, Nov. 6. They should also feel free to bring a partner, colleagues, or other allies who support the FPC mission.

The Fred Pride Coalition is a faculty and staff affinity group. It strives to provide support, promote inclusion, and advocate for LGBTQIA+ identities on campus, and is described as “a very laid-back group and you can attend any event without having to commit!”

The coalition provides programs, social events and informational sessions on matters of importance to the LGBTQIA+ community. The group meets monthly and organizes at least two events per semester around notable LGBTQIA+ awareness dates.

Members of the campus community are invited to attend to meet the members of FPC and learn more about the group. It is an informal "meet and greet” for new and existing members, and all are invited (queer or allies). As they say, “The more the merrier!”

For more information, contact, via email, Dr. Golembiewski or Brenda Dean.
