The Department of Mathematical Sciences celebrates its 26th Pi Day with a tribute to Fredonia’s anniversary, a 'Pi'Centennial celebration.

The event is slated for Wednesday, March 11, beginning 6 p.m. in Houghton Hall Room 237.

Teams will compete for their place on the coveted Pi Cup as they tackle the game of SMADness that requires teams to create number sentences that replicate the digits of pi.

Not sure how to play? No worries — faculty will assist and no experience is required. Join the fun for music, dancing, math and more.

The event is being held three days early from March 14 to avoid a conflict with the upcoming spring break.
