“Sammy brings warmth and positivity to everyone he engages with” - McGinnies Hall Director Ronny Nissen

McGinnies Hall Director Ronny Nissen nominated Samuel for the award.

“Sammy brings warmth and positivity to everyone he engages with,” Mr. Nissen said. “He has a great appreciation for human connection, going out of the way to make sure someone is seen and given support as well.”

Among Samuel’s favorite things about Fredonia is spending time in Steele Hall.

“I would love to have my own athletic facility to help athletes perform better,” he said of his future goals.

The Student of the Month program was implemented in 2003 to recognize students who are well-rounded, excel in their academics, and contribute positively to the campus and community.
