Communication prof gets Fulbright nod
Associate Professor Mike Igoe, who teaches in the Journalism area in the Department of Communication, has been appointed to a three-year term as a U.S. Fulbright Specialist.
As part of the program, academics and established professionals engage in two- to six-week, project-based exchanges at host institutions across the globe. The Fulbright program celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2021, and in 2001 the Specialist program was initiated. Over 400 Specialists travel abroad each year in the program.
During a previous appointment, Mr. Igoe taught at Hong Kong Baptist University.
