Adjunct Lecturer Nick Smith has published a chapter as part of the new book from Routledge.

The book, “Creativity and Conflict in the Cultural Industries,” is designed as a foundational resource in the study of conflict in creative work and cultural industries, including film, television, audio, and the fine arts.

Mr. Smith's chapter follows the adventures of artist Robert Longo and his foray into Hollywood with the prescient yet ill-fated science fiction movie “Johnny Mnemonic”, starring Keanu Reeves. Smith's findings will be used in his Rhetoric of Vision and Sound class in the Department of Communication.
