The second installment of the Curious and Creative Conversation Series, a showcase of faculty presentations, will be held Thursday, Oct. 9.

At the 50-minute gatherings, faculty members from varied fields/disciplines present a 10-minute “lightning talk” about the details of a scholarly, research or creative project. All presentations are held in the Reed Library Garden area and are free and open to the public.

Presenters are Dr. Jeanette McVicker (Ethnic and Gender Studies), Dr. Robert Dahlgren (Education) and Dr. Christina Jarvis (English). The program will be held from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m.

In the series, presenters share about their research/creative projects and offer tips for the next generation of scholars and artists. A question-and-answer session follows each individual presentation.

Learn about the processes involved in and outcomes resulting from scholarship and creative activity in various fields.
