The Applied Communication Association, a Fredonia student group, has announced the cancellation of the 16th Fall Sweep held in the village.

The group noted, "We regret to inform you that the 16th annual Fall Sweep Event will be cancelled due to regulations SUNY Fredonia has put into place to keep students safe during COVID-19. Fall Sweep has been a great way to give back to the Fredonia community for many years while also allowing students to bond with one another. We thank you all for your participation throughout the years; without you, this event would have never been possible."

It is hoped the event will continue sometime in the future.
