The Fredonia Jazz Orchestra and ensembles will be in concert at Juliet J. Rosch Recital Hall on Thursday, March 26.

The concert is slated for 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Works to be performed by the FJO includes tunes by John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Charles Mingus, Thad Jones and Chick Corea. 

All Jazz concerts can be livestreamed thanks to a sponsorship with Paramax Corporation of Buffalo, NY, a Diamond Level Sponsor of the 2025-2026 Jazz Series, through the Fredonia College Foundation. The livestream can be accessed from the School of Music website.

The Jazz Orchestra includes students Evan Bonanno and Amya L Softic on alto saxophone, Angelo Delaney and David Hoebener on tenor saxophone, Sean Kress on baritone saxophone, trumpets James Deedy, Ethan Wellington, Darwin Skalski and Sara Amend; trombones Charlie Radomski, Danny Williams, Preston Resto and Justin Damiano; pianist Lucas West, Mark Dashkevych and Vanessa Paterson on guitar; and Haden Gold and Nigel W. Usiak on drums.

Ensembles include pianists Ella Povino and Marcus Simpson, guitarist Jaeryoung “Sammy” Lee; Paterson, Ari Syposs and Nailah Rahman on bass; Christopher A. Izzo and Zach Cole on drums, Logan McGranaghan on trombone, Lucas O Castelo Barnum on trumpet, Spencer Galfunt on tenor saxophone, Jason Messi and Bonanno on alto saxophone and Donovan Monaco on vibes.
