Fredonia School of Music Assistant Professor Leonidas Lagrimas was among the presenters in July at the Virtual National Group Piano/Piano Pedagogy Forum, otherwise known as the GP3 Forum.

The forum is a national conference presented through Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). 

Dr. Lagrimas’ presentation “Lab Power Outage: The Benefits of Playing without Sound” was part of the "Lightning Talks. As the name implies, they are short and fast presentations (five minutes maximum) on a piano/piano pedagogy related topic.

Wind Ensemble to feature visiting artist and honor faculty member

The Fredonia Wind Ensemble will present its final concert in April, welcoming composer and Claudette Sorel visiting artist Valerie Coleman and celebrating the legacy of School of Music Professor and Assistant Director Barry Kilpatrick.
