Christopher LaGrow, associate director of the Career Development Office, has received the Building Bridges Award from the Western New York Association of College Career Centers (WNYACCC).

This award, presented annually, highlights collaboration within the career development profession and showcases the work of two or more offices, colleges or departments working together to promote career success for students.

The honor recognizes Mr. LaGrow’s long-standing leadership and collaborative work with WNYACCC, through his years of co-chairing the Western New York Career & Internship Fair (formerly referred to as Jobsapalooza) and his collaboration with SUNY Buffalo State on the annual Graduate School Fair.

"Collaborating with my colleagues is one of my favorite aspects of my job so I was very honored to be recognized for that very thing," LaGrow commented.

WNYACCC is comprised of career development professionals at 19 colleges and universities in Western New York.
