Marketing association names Huang research track chair

School of Business Associate Professor Lei Huang has been selected as the research track chair by the Society for Marketing Advances (SMA), a premier marketing association that hosts an annual conference that brings together marketing researchers and professionals from the United States and abroad.

In his new role, Dr. Huang will serve in the research division of Marketing Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility for the SMA annual conference 2021 to be held in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 3-6.

Huang was the recipient of SMA best paper award in 2015 for his research in product involvement and corporate social responsibility on brand perceptions.

SMA was founded to foster research, service and education in all phases of marketing and to encourage the exchange of ideas among members with similar interests. It endeavors to promote the growth of intellectual leadership in the field of marketing on the part of researchers, educators and students in universities as well as executive business and government. Huang will recruit national wide reviewers and solicit submissions for his track.
