On July 31, the Department of Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability placed new Automated External Defibrillator units across campus.

The new AED units are Philips brand and while they look slightly different than the previous G5 units, they work the same.

Those who would like to learn how to perform CPR and use an AED should watch the EHSS website this fall for classes. An online demo video is also available from Phillips.

Director Sarah Laurie noted, “Many thanks to student workers Carolyn and Danielle for their hard work to accomplish this work on a tight timeline!”
